Display Energy Certificates Cork
Kevin McCourt is a qualified Display Energy Certificate assessor in Cork.
The purpose of Display Energy Certificates is to encourage public building owners to adopt energy efficiency measures by displaying their energy performance.
What is a Display Energy Certificate
A Display Energy Certificate (DEC) rating is based on the measured, actual energy use of a building. This is then compared to a benchmark for similar buildings.
The certificate shows the grade awarded, energy and CO2 performance indicators, and your energy trends. It is required in addition to the BER and covers both privately and publicly owned large buildings.
The difference between a DEC and a BER is that a BER is a calculated energy use measurement as opposed to actual energy use measurement.
If you have a business premises in Cork and need a DEC performed call Kevin today on 087 9419156
